To make many of my toys and games, I first do a lot of research into a variety of topics like zoology, folklore and world culture. I look at a lot of scientific drawings, turn-of-the-century ornamentation, and Korean animation. Then I sketch out my images and designs, put them on my computer to color and arrange them, and then do any necessary writing and proofing so they are ready to print! There is also a lot of cutting, pasting and sewing that goes into making the toys, games and cards. The hardest part is prioritizing what needs to be worked on next, because I'm always cooking up a new idea that I’m anxious to start working on!
